Ingredients

  • 650g mackerel or sea bream fillets
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 15g fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 red chilli, chopped
  • 300g cooked rice
  • Cucumber salad to serve

Method

Check the fish for bones, pat it dry, and prepare the vegetables and sides before cooking.

Blend vinegar, mustard seeds, garlic, ginger, paprika, cumin, and chilli into a paste.

Spread over the fish and bake at 190C for 10-12 minutes until cooked.

Serve with rice and cucumber salad.
